Our What + Why
All About Us
At The Mother Foundation, we are committed to providing support to mothers before and after childbirth. In a society where many mothers feel forgotten and left to navigate the challenges of motherhood alone, we strive to be the village they need. Whether they are single mothers, families in need, or any mother seeking assistance, we are here to offer care, resources, and community.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, approximately 11 million single-parent families were living in the United States in 2022, with nearly 80% of them headed by single mothers. This statistic underscores the unique challenges faced by single mothers, but we want to emphasize that our support extends to all mothers and families in need. Additionally, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report that 1 in 8 women experience postpartum depression, highlighting the importance of emotional support and understanding during this vulnerable time. Furthermore, the National Diaper Bank Network states that 1 in 3 American families experience diaper need, emphasizing the critical importance of access to basic necessities for all families.
At The Mother Foundation, our mission is to bridge the gap and ensure that no mother feels alone on her journey. Through our comprehensive support programs, we aim to empower mothers and families, providing them with the tools and resources they need to thrive.
